Winter is simply our summers plus a few degrees. Of course, you being raised a Southie might enjoy it.

I just talked to my best girlfriend that went to Alaska recently. And she confirmed that -12 up there did not feel as cold as our 0 and below temps. She said at negative 12 she was still just wearing a light jacket. This is the same woman who freezes to death when it drops below 70.

I actually stumbled across the video for this book several months ago! It showed up in my feed after I kept searching about Mississippi! Also send help… I may be slowly transitioning to a deep southie. I tried fried okra - delicious. Catfish though is disgusting. And I went home for fall break and my family laughed because I said like 2 whole words with a very slight southern twang. Good news though, sticking to my roots and refusing to call crawdads “crayfish”!
