when you are tilling the garden outside the coop... and then take your lil tiller into the coop and run it around the yard a few times so the girls can get the worms


when you get up at 430 every morning to spend time with your babies before work

when you see that too many of your babies are roos... and you know you have to do THAT... and you keep hoping they will all just get along so you can keep em all 4 of them... yes i am in denial ... dont take those rose colored glasses off

I took my EE hen for a drive the other day... through a McDonald's drive thru. The employee's eyes went really wide: "oh my god!" Geez lady, haven't you ever seen a chicken before? She called all her coworkers over one by one and everyone couldn't believe it. "Why doesn't it fly away?" "Are you going to eat it?" No people, she's my pet, we're going to go home and share my big mac and watch some tv.
