Ok, I'm done with this subject, till tomorrow when I print out the colored pictures, laminate it & post it to the inside of one of the coop doors for future ID on any new chickies that come into the flock next year.

heh, i'm the one who owns all the tools in the house! and i had many of them before i married DH!

when you so desperately want to get out of work, just to come home to see your chickens and the gifts of eggs they may have left! also, to just relax to the sounds of clucking and an occasional crow from you roo/cockerel!

when your FIL comes over and you're in the new garage coop with the chickens, and he has to ask if you're still alive in there! just because you have been there for over an hour!

You might be a crazy chicken person if...
people regularly point out to you that you have feathers in your hair... because you go out almost every day and scour the 3/4 acres the chickens range on for the beautiful feathers they leave you (all the while chiding those birds who drop them in the dust holes or mud, and complimenting the chicken responsible for the particularly nice feather you just found) and always forget to take a collection bag to keep them in and don't want them to get all messed up in your pockets so you just tuck them into your ponytail and then forget they are there.
And you have more than 4 cubic feet of feathers, even though you have made a half dozen masks out of them already.
Ok, so I am also a craft nerd. But I chose my chickens for their pretty feathers
