You are my kind of people, theres nothing wrong with chickens in the house. My 2 come in everynight to sleep.

Does spending an hour sitting outside snapping organic layer pellets into tiny pieces count. I have to do this or they just wont eat them at all.

Oh yeah and I spent a lot of time imitating my Red Star's egg song for my family at my dad's retirement party. I scared my poor sister-in-law and my brother-in-law kept asking me to "do it again!"

yep, my girls are more theraputic than any therapist has been! yes i tuck them in, and scold them if they get too iritable to their neighbors....

they fill the 'empty nest syndrome'

When you drive 40 miles to get fresh crickets in the container with holes in it (so the crickets come out slowly) for your girls, and it's considered "part of your grocery shopping"

when the back half of your house is a temporary coop until you finish the outside run and coop....
when every night you go out and give hugs and inspections to all the flock-
when your two roos decide to have a brawl and end up each having a bubble bath!!
