You might be a crazy chicken gent if you crawl out of bed at 4 am so that you can open the door to the chicken coop at 4:10am, since your rooster really rags on the hens if they continue to be locked up after "lights on."

Then after opening that door so that they can play in their chicken yard, you stumble back into bed to finish that night's rest, stubbing your big toe in the dark....

if after school you make a gian sandwhich for the chickens,
or you come home form school wearing a pretty skirt, then randomly start signig a song and daced in the chicken coop!
( Lol I was doing that yesterday.. man was I good!

You might be over the hill if you notice some feather pulling followed by eating the feathers and the guy in your head yells PROTEIN and you rush in to boil up the first piece of meat in the freezer which turns out to be a lovely moose roast. And then you mince it up, say nothing to the hunter in the house, and feed it to your hens!

You might be a crazy chicken lady if you get up an hour earlier than normal just so you can bake up some corn bread with cottage cheese and leftover baked beans in it, just because the feed is getting low in the feeder and you know you can't get to the feed store until tomorrow............

When you go to the Deer Expo with DH and he sends you home for asking the deer stand vendor where you can get one of his great chicken coops?
