just did that for our new ducks except with and AutoCad program

And here I thought I was bad using Visio. Id' use AutoCad but I dont' have it.

LOL Never used Visio have used just about everything else though. If it lets you do layout and organization and allow you to visualize what you want to do Who cares what program it is. I learned this a long time ago Back when I was taking engineers Paper napkin concept ideas and turning them into real workable designs. Now I am drawing on paper napkins.... lol Lots and lots and lots of them....

IlovemyPeep&mypeeps :

Each night you tell your husband, "I'm going to go put the girls to bed." And you go to the backyard, count how many are on the roost, tell them goodnight, and quietly shut & lock all doors to the coop.

You check for eggs 2-3 times a day just in case there is one more
You try to "talk" to your flock by making chicken noises and "honking" (we have one that sounds more like a duck than a chicken)
You have named them all
You and your husband sit on the back deck watching the chickens and discussing who is dust bathing, walking around, eating, laying...at that particular moment.
You tell them you're proud of them for laying so good

Your husband calls home to ask how "the girls" are doing
You have to give your dog extra attention because he feels like he's been replaced and he mopes! (which, he hasn't been replaced. He will always be our first born.)

Visio works pretty well once you figure out how to make it do what you want it to do rather than what the programmers at Microsoft want you to do. Mostly finding the shapes you want and having them all in one place is half the battle. You'd think that all the simple shapes would all be in the "basic" or plain vanilla diagram template. Nope. Squares here, rectangles here, ovals here, arrows here... argh.
