You People Dont Deserve This........

I made this tonight for dinner and it got RAVE reviews!

I had my doubts since it's unlike any other jambalaya recipe I've seen, but the flavors are soooo balanced and it's soooo easy!

Thanks DENALI for a new family favorite!

You guys should all try this! I am tellin ya I tweaked on this for a year to get it to balance like this. Its REALLY good! Local bar owner here keeps wanting the recipe from me but i refuse to give it to him because he is just wanting to sell jambalaya to his lunch and dinner crowds. He has tried several times to replicate it but he falls way short each time

FRED - I told you that I was going to make this with some cornbread. Well, it smelled sooooo good and I got hungry and didn't get to make the cornbread. This is a totally awesome recipe. But it will taste just as good after church tomorrow. I did do one thing different. I don't like jalapenos, so I used a can of RoTel tomatoes and green chiles. I can't wait for my folks to come back hom and make it for my dad. He will love it!!

So whats the verdict? Who All Ended up trying it and what did you think? Cya!

I'm sure that this is good, but... being from south Louisiana, I'm a little suspect of any recipe (and especially Jambalaya) that doesn't start off, "First, you make a roux".

But, it looks like it's be a quick and easy substitute. I'll have to give it a try, lol
