Raccoons were introduced to Europe on purpose - someone thought they were cute. Same with starlings into the US. American grey squirrels into England. Europe had no poison ivy until intro'd from the US.

The more stressful the environment, the more aggressive chemically and physically shaped are pollen granules...revenge of the trees.
