I don't know how big Pekins usually get - I haven't looked it up. Mine are about 16 weeks old. I also don't have other ducks to compare them to. But they are bigger than my BR cockrels of the same age...

Hard to tell from the pics but I think mine is bigger He must be a jumbo pekin. I sure hope I don’t have to harvest him if he gets too big. I am getting so attached to all 3 of my duckies!

Hopefully he'll be able to live a healthy long life. Just make sure to not let him get over weight since their legs aren't so strong to begin with. In other words watch those treats! lol

Soooo the to get them to take a dropper full to the beak... yeah, that's a messy task and the BComplex is bright orange and stains things it touches! I would pick up my duckling and wrap her in a towel to hold her safely and keep myself from getting scratched and then put the dropper in the corner of her mouth. Sometimes it went better than others

I would say if you can get him to eat some sort of treat with the b complex on it, that's definitely a better route.
