Young Turkey laying

Will a young hen,less than yr, sit in nesting area for couple hours and not lay a egg? She was laying 3 in a row and skip a day but now she still acts like she's laying but there's no egg. Maybe every other day there's an egg.

She might be "playing house", I personally wouldn't worry about it. All young poultry can act odd during pueberty, and during their first laying season.
