I’m a little worried about the sage I planted last summer.

I didn't even think about my sage plant! I moved it last year from its place near the house (where it didn't get enough sun) down to the garden (where it gets a lot of sun). It many-tupled in size, from the size of a potted plant to a nice low bush.

And I hope my rhubarb survives

Same here! I just discovered how much I like rhubarb jam last year, made with my own rhubarb.

But yeah, the ticks?

Planted Snow Crown cauliflower, Copenhagen cabbage and Earliana cabbage seeds in the house today.

Going through my stock of seed trays, cake pans, paper towel rolls, empty cardboard egg cartons and everything else I’m planning to use for seed starting. Not sure yet if I need to go out and buy anything.

We won't be able to plant things outside here until some time in April.

Home Depot already has plants and bulbs in stock.

I didn't resist temptation and came home with a Baby Cakes, thornless, dwarf blackberry plant which I potted and left in the greenhouse.

I get DH home tomorrow then I can look at planting seeds.

I stopped at the Family Dollar store on the way home from church today and picked up two packages on Cilantro seeds at 4/$1.25, about 63¢ total. I stocked up on bean, squash, and peas seeds in the Fall, so I should be good.

Our collards survived several nights in the low teens. I know one night it got down to 13°. Now they are growing like crazy again. Shouldn't have any worms for at least a week or to now. We got a good harvest of leaves before the blizzard came. Snow is gone on the farm here but we saw the dirty piles of snow still hanging on yesterday in town.

I just checked the weather for the next 10 days and the forecast calls for lows that are much warmer than frost temps. I'm a pessimistic optimist now.
