Your 2025 Garden

Ready to mow everything down for 2025. Outside of a few peppers and tomatoes and our chickens I think 2026 will look a lot more like a real retirement.

Out of town for 5 days, gardens were dying due to heat so I didn't expect much when I returned. However, the tomatoes are still hanging on. I also noticed a couple tiny watermelons, but the sweet potato vines are taking over!

And the weeds...one week's worth.

Most pulled up by hand, we had lots of rain yesterday.

Why I grow parsley:

It is a host plant for Black swallowtail butterflies!
