For thinning I usually cheat and just put one seed per pot to begin with, or if they’re too small for that (EX: oregano) I just let them duke it out among themselves.

I don't have that kind of self-control they need to make seed envelopes resealable haha I know I can just fold them down but to me I'm like there's a palm full of seeds in this envelope I might as well just throw them all into these cells and I never learn my lesson and do it every single year

I don't plan on getting anything put in the ground except the potatoes and maybe some onions and garlic. I have been thinking about peas but we're going to be in the upper 70s to 80s the rest of the week and into next week so maybe.

One of my tomato pots is getting the stink eye right now. There is what looks suspiciously like another tomato seedling at the base of the first seedling. Best guess is they were two seeds stuck together or else I accidentally dropped the seed for Pot #4 into Pot #3 because that one remains seedling-less.

We won't see a stem of anything for at LEAST a month. The ground is still frozen solid. It's been 40F during the day, but still below freezing every night. It's a good thing they don't sprout even if they could, as they'd just be freezing every night.

Mine are blooming! I have a few grape hyacinth up as well. (Zone 6)

I usually start with 2 seeds per cell. This way, if one seed cell doesn't have germination or later dies or I like the look of both young plants in one cell better than either in the other, I can fix that.

I just plant like 4-5x more seeds than I need lol
