Your Biggest Chicken Egg To Date

I can't imagine an egg within an egg and how that could happen inside the hen? I've recently had 2 XXXLLL eggs (over 100g) and both were just double yolks. Curious...

Dang!! Poor girl.

So far our biggest has been from a Buff Orp, weighed 3.0 oz, 3" long, 5 3/4" circumference at widest point. It was a double yolker.

Look at what I got today: eek! 4.5oz, 3.25 inches long. Ouch. I don't want to crack it open!!!! I want to blow it out and saw it, lol.

Hard to tell size, but that looks pretty big. Poor hen.

Was waiting for someone to ask about that egg....

I couldn't resist a little joke....that's a normal sized egg in a tiny colander of my granddaughter's. It was just such a cute little thing I had to play a joke with it.
