Your Chicken Budget!

I have an article on raising chickens on a budget and would love to be able to add some new information to it! Feel free to respond to the poll and share your money-saving tips, hacks, etc.!

I never calculated, or kept track. I also purchase (year round) Wild bird seed. and BOSS for squirrels. Not to mention all the Cat food to feed my feral rescues, and feral visitors.
Now back to getting dog food, again, after a time period, of no dogs. But doggie is a small one, so not all that much food.
I feel Blessed to be able to afford it.

Don't bother with cost, just pick up the feed when needed.

I try not to keep track but it's well over 51+ birds and $1,000 annually.

Oh boy, it appears I might be overspending for just 4 ladies but If my girls asked me for $1 million just to shred into pieces, id make it happen; they’re priceless

just kidding about the million dollars. But there isn’t a budget when it comes to them.

Idk. Maybe 100+ birds. I think there's some with more then that.
Most times I probably have 500- 750. Idk if there's many as crazy as me. I don't want to know the number and definitely don't want to know the expense.
Tips on saving costs...
For myself... quit hatching more chicks.
For myself that actually helped. Be smart about feeders. Don't let birds waste feed.
