I have two "albino" peachicks and they aren't very "rare"!!

"White" is the 2nd most common color in peafowl, next to India Blue. Everyone should have a couple of peas running around their place. I just love my 6.

I really want to get some Black Shouldered peas...

couldn't agree more! although, i think peas are more addictive than chickens!

we have well over 50 (incl. Black Shoulders

).

I only have 6...you have 44+ more than me!

But...I bet I can make up for that with all my chooks!

I admit I never knew there wasn't a such thing as an "albino" peacock/peahen! The one live white peacock I've seen had red eyes - or at least they looked red from the angle I had of it!

The two Whites I have both have gorgeous blue eyes!

And...there isn't such a thing as an Albino peafowl that I know off! It's just a plain 'ol white pea.

X2, yes is was most likely just the picture, white's have blue eyes.

and fluffy, i bet you do beat me in chook count! this past season we ran 8 different breeding pens of peas. already thinking about next season and what we may add.
