Your favorite fancy Vegetarian/Vegan main dish?

I made my first stuffed pumpkin for dinner this evening! I like the idea of rice and veggies in one, maybe some soy sauce or something for flavor.

My vote for your dinner is vegetarian chili... honestly I'm not all that creative with vegetarian type stuff. Pasta of some kind might be a winner.

So... Three "soups". :p A squash dish very close to my last four, and four non centerpieces. XD Aye. This is why veg*n food gets a bad rep my friends. :p

I found a wellington loaf made with lentils and nuts that might be nice as an option but it sounds very dry...

Don't knock it til you try it? Sorry if you felt my suggestions aren't centerpieces the way a whole roast turkey is, but they're certainly not afterthoughts.

Just because I call it a non centerpiece doesn't mean you can't dress them up to make them festive. Like the rice casserole I linked sure can look fancier than the butternut casserole you linked, without the need to add a crust, just by baking it in a fancier dish. The bundt pasta looks great if you use the right pan, etc.

Vegetarian food only gets a bad rap because some restaurants still think a pile of sauteed veggies is a "main course."

Sorry we disappoint. I am clearly not much of a cook...
LOL!! I can cook, but I'm just not very creative when so many foods, I mean like entire food groups, are off the table.

Bread. With home made jam..... IDK? Yeesh.... and I thought my 2 year old was picky.

The "centerpiece" dish could just be something normal created into an awesome sculpture, right?

Yeah.... I made my suggestions and they weren't well received. I've got nothing else, so I'm tapping out. Good luck finding your perfect centerpiece! I'm sure whatever you choose will be awesome!
I tried too, I'm just not that imaginative I guess. I find the irony of coming to an egg and chicken recipes forum to ask this question rather amusing though!
