I agree with Charlie - breaking 100+ degree temps.  I live in the Phoenix area.  Anything below 80 degrees is what we call gorgeous.  Halloween is my favorite holiday.  And football just started.  "It's the most wonderful time of the year!"

It does get brutal in the southwest. It's an awesome place to visit, but I couldn't live there, I would melt!

We just moved to Florida from New Mexico so big change, the thing that kills me is this humidity.

I actually like the humidity. And yeah what I don't like about fall is the imminent winter(yeah sixty degree is cold for me)

I love the cool nights and sleeping with the windows open. It was in the mid 40's here last night and I love it.

Even cooler nights are on the way! I leave my bedroom window cracked open almost all winter (except for storms.)

Autumn is such a lovely time around here, most of the time. Sometimes, we'll have 100 degree temps with horrible humidity, but there are good days. Days when there is a cool breeze and acorns fall from the trees with every gust of wind. The dogs are playing in the yard like puppies and we go through our old family photos, reminiscing about the days when Bologna the pony was alive and he'd get in his winter coat so we'd have to brush him down so he wouldn't overheat in the mild winters. When we were all feeling the spirit, we'd dare one another to go up in the attic and remove the Thanksgiving decorations (and if someone was afraid of spiders and mice, they are wimps, hehe!). Mom and I will get really into our arts & crafts and we'll say that we're going to paint our dinnerware for Thanksgiving and we'll forget until it's too late and the turkey is already in the oven. In the end, we'll have settled to just make little artsy things for the house and changing the flowers in the house. It's a good time of year for us.

I do also. I usually shut the vents in my bedroom at night and love bundrling up in a quilt. Geesh..I hope my chickens are as cozy. .lmao.
