Right cmon then! What’s your favourite, funniest or stupidest name for one of your chickens?

Grace is my all time favorite name for a hen.

This is Galadriel. A white EE. Bc of their fluffy muffs and beards, it made us think of the dwarves in LOTR. But, she’s white colored so Galadriel (basically an Elf “queen” in LOTR), was a better fit.

otherwise, flower or outdoor names fit well. We’ve had a Marigold, Lily, Autumn as some examples.

Stupid names: well, we currently have an 8 month male who hasn’t got a clue..not alarming, not tidbitting, not protecting, not mating. But teen has named him “Thorin Oakenshield” -a name from “The Hobbit” and is a strong male name...on a dud (so far) of a male.

I have a Japanese bantam named Chabo because Chabo is the Japanese word for bantam!

Our red sex links are called vaselisa, Martha, Charlotte,and Coco Chanel we have a roo called nuggets and planning to get a hen called pistachio , lavender and thunder beak
We had a roo called Ricki and a hen called chickaleta we also had a granny hen Carin
