I know what you mean I heart - makes me feel so much better to know others have survived being as MORTIFIED as I was a few times..... we're all human, and its funny when you can look back a few years...

Its good to laugh, makes me feel on TOP OF THE COOP.....
I must admit, I have one moment - I think it scared me for life!! LOL - OK it is dang funny... but you have to picture it!
Here goes:
I was about 12 years old, a gymnast and very proud of it. I had what we called a body suit - basically like a swim suit, but it had clips in the crotch to close it..... and well I didn't like wearing undies.. just not my thang. Well one day, wearing my gymnastic body suit, no undies I decided to do a little showing off (you can see where this is going - like a train wreck) I did a few back flips and was performing my perfect handstand, when those clips gave way! In front of an audience (mostly boys - I admit it) I don't think I left the apartment for a MONTH!
(Of course my sister was there to witness - and she'll NEVER let me forget it)

I have a couple that come to mind right away. I'm such a dork embarrassing myself is a daily occurence.
When I was in college our apartment was freezing cold, so you had to sleep in sweats over your jammies so you didn't freeze to death during the night. It was like something from The Exorcist, you could see your breath when you got up in the morning. Anyway, one morning I woke up late for class, got dressed and then grabbed my hoodie and tied it around my waist in case I got cold. I got to class on time, everything went fine until I was walking out. A guy taps me on the back, and hands me my pyjamas that have fallen out of my sweatshirt :|
On another occasion I was working temporarily in an office, and the permanent employees were trying on new uniforms to see what they liked. They were trying various different styles of navy blue trousers, and asking me what I thought of them. One lady came out, and I told her that those ones didn't fit so well and looked a bit too tight. It turned out they were her own and she was done trying on clothes.
