Is this a show rooster, or a regular ol' roo? He's beautiful, and I love how his feathers seem to glow!

I have thought about showing him but he is one of my 7 roosters.

Here in Israel it is almost impossible to import eggs so almost 4 years ago my friend "mangaed" ( ) to " find " 8 eggs of this wonderful breed after a challenge I challenged him to bring this breed to Israel, the deal was that if he brings them I will raise them until point of lay. from them he hatched 5 chickes 4 normal and one extremely little he said that it will not survive the night, but stubborn as I am I didn't give up.
Apparently the little chick was the ONLY feamale in the batch!
And that one feamale became the grandmother of them all. Here she is:

And my hens are the F3 generation:

And now who have said that stubbornness is a bad thing?
