Your thoughts on Temperature....

Somewhere along the road of life, I have become confused and do not get the last 3 posts.... It must be because of me pure and angelic nature.

* the word "me" was a typo, I left it in because it makes me sound Australian and I heard being Australian was cool.

Confusion is a state of bliss - I'm very happy there!

As well as sounding Australian, its also akin to being from Yorkshire (northern England) - not quite as cool

I need to resurrect this thread, as my "It's hot" threshold isn't on here.... I start grumbling any time above 18°C, or 65°F for the 'mericans among us.

I prefer 50-60 F, cloudy and low humidity. 72 F is the point I start getting overheated

I'm finding that comfortable temperatures are really dependent on the amount of humidity in the air. I just moved to Arizona from New Jersey and it was hot here the past week. Temps were often 110-115 F. However, at home my mom said it was 86 F and unbearable because of the humidity. 115 was hot but with the breeze in the shade it was bearable. I have found that 100 is very comfortable in the shade but only if it's a dry heat!

I hate the cold and snow though, so I'm really looking forward to the weather here in the winter!

I can understand that, my being in Texas but sometimes I long to at least try one year up north. Maybe I wouldn't freeze to death.

Would love to express my feelings about the weather but, my comments wouldn't be suitable for a family site like BYC. We are supposed to have an increase in heat & decrease in rain - grass already looks like straw.

I much prefer cold weather over hot & humid any day.

Yep, 20C and over is sunburn territory here

I wouldn't mind if it was 85°F here. It sure would be a relief, and beat the 115°F that we had today.

It really depends where I'm at. For instance, when I lived in Phoenix, I didn't consider it hot until well over 100F. But now in the Colorado Rocks, I'm uncomfortable once it's above 85F.

The sun here at 8,700 feet can really do a number on you. That's coming from someone that lived in Phoenix for over 15 years. Granted in Phoenix I had a/c almost everywhere I went, while here we don't have a/c.
