Good answer, lol! I like the way you think! I’d have one of each breed if I could as well. My husband on the other hand is the more practical one as his go to breed would be white leghorns, hands down.

Oh no!! I don't have enough personal experience with different breeds to make an "informed choice". So I'm just following along

So far a fave of mine is a Leghorn mix, crazy egg production, and sweet personality.

I have only had one flock before, so I will go with my trusty Red Sexlinks.

There’s definitely nothing wrong with a sexlink. I’m pretty partial to them myself, they’re just so friendly and superb layers.

I can't choose one breed but I can choose 3!
Lavender orpington - Very sweet and great personality! They run right up to me when they see me and i'm just addicted to orpintons now!

Rhode Island Red mix- They're one of my favorites, great egg production, lovely personalities and they're so friendly, they run up to me and sit in my lap, begging for treats, they also are not afraid of me

Silkies - My silkies are great! Friendly and fluffy and they just have hilarious personalities!
