Youtube monitization?

Does anyone monitize their youtube vids? Do you actually get paid of is it just bull?

I've monetized videos in the past. The revenue is okay but unless you have decent traffic it's not honestly worth it IMO.

I do ok but I have been on there a while. I know people that have quit working cause youtube pays them better. There are even people that have made enough to buy a house off one video.

Most people dont do enough to get a following so dont make anything.

A few people that do it for a living.

Do you need to add a credit card or do they send a check?

You can ether have them mail you a check or do direct deposit. When I started I let them cut me a check just to get to see it... They wont pay you until you have over $100 profit. Then it takes about a month to send out that check. Once you get were you are making over $100 a month you will get a check every month.


Even if you only have videos making $5 a month total its worth it. I have videos I made years ago that constantly make me a few $s a month. Not much at a time per video but they have long sense payed me for the time I put in them has been money for nothing ever sense.

I started like three days ago and its already up to $7.12 thats pretty good. i guess i will wait and see what happenes.
