I'm glad to hear it can take awhile from pip to hatch. My first one pipped at 4pm yesterday (or a few hours earlier) and it looks the same. How soon does the zipping start and once that starts, is it fast? Out of my first shipment, I had 8 eggs and 4 are still in there. 3 are pipped and I *think* I see something on the 4th. Out of the 8 eggs in the second shipment, all are still in there and looked good but they are 2 days behind so I'm expecting something today or tomorrow. The second set are standard frizzled cochins and the first set are sizzles and silkies so bantams. Do bantams take longer? I'm hoping the cochins will hatch faster and they will be on the same schedule.
