Has Zane produce any offsprings??????????? Not sure if he was matured enough to breed or he was starting out when he got hurt.

I was wondering this as well...or wondering if there might be any plans to breed him via artificial means if he is unable to breed normally.

I read somewhere that this was possible, and even though it sounds kinda crazy to me I would practically kill to get my hands on a rooster out of this guy for my BR ladies!

Not just because he is so handsome (which he is), but because I had a BR roo when I was a kid that had an AMAZING temperament like Zane and I want one with that personality for my flock roo.

*sigh* I guess I will keep reading Zanes updates and hoping to see one that mentions hatching eggs for sale! *hint* *hint*

Yes, Panda is adorable, but I need a ROO!

Come on Zane!!! You gotta pull through and get back to your rooster duties so I can plead with your momma to sell me some hatching eggs!

Zane was hurt back in April a few days after his daddy died (April 15). Cyanne, Dutch is Zane's full brother and is leading the laying flock right now. I can certainly get you some hatching eggs whenever you like. I have my doubts that Zane will ever be back with the flock, even if he gets so he can walk a bit.

I sure am glad that the new antibiotic seemed to work so well. My fingers are crossed and I am hoping, hoping, hoping that the infection will stay at bay this time around and never return. I'm wishing you all the luck with the physical therapy on that boy also! He so deserves to get better. Zane is one heck of a rooster and that is one HUGE understatement!

I took some pics of Panda, who is now 16 weeks old. She's always with my GLW and my banty Cochin girl so its rare to get one of her alone. Hey, Carri, Nugget is in the second pic in the background. Always thought it was odd that Panda got white legs from her yellow-legged dad and slate legged mom. I'll have to ask our genetics guru about that one.
