Zane.. an Update with Pics

Those pictures make me smile. I am always lifting up a chicken and giving it a hug and kiss on the neck, LOL. And what's really nice is that some of them like it, and others just tolerate me. But I do have 4 roos, 2 silkie and 2 Polish, that I can pick up and hug all the time, and they really don't want me to know that they like it, LOL

Well, Zane looks beautiful. It's quite a thing for me to post any pictures of myself-I hate the camera pointed at me! I was just so happy yesterday, I lost my head, LOL.

I was SO glad to see this thread! I've been wondering how big Zane was doing, and I am VERY glad to see you out, even if you're not exactly "up" and about yet. I can see the joy in your eyes when you look at your big boy, and I know how it feels to not be able to be out with your babies while you're recuperating. I hope your healing is swift and complete, and that you'll soon be able to hang out with your chickies like you want to! You're a blessing to me, even if you don't know me personally!

Just SO great to see your posts, to have the treat of seeing a pic of you and Zane (and personally, I think it is so CUTE how Gypsy fancies Zane!)!!! SO glad to know you are able to get up and be with your chickens. I agree with Miss Prissy - there is healing power in a chicken hug... and a Zane hug - well that has to be REALLY good stuff!!! He has such a great face - and your love for him is so apparent in the pics.

So THANKS for checking in! I know many BYCers keep tabs on Zane, and we've been thinking positive thoughts for you and your hubby - concerned about your health - well - this post was just a real gift for me! Thanks, speckledhen! And keep those Zane and Gypsy updates coming when you feel up to it!!!

What compliments! Wow, I'm humbled. Thank you. Today, I got to hold Charlotte, my blue Ameraucana and Gypsy's mother. She seemed so relieved to see me, she put her head across my arm and closed her eyes. She's over her molt and looks gorgeous. I'm so pleased to be back with my babies.
