I am so glad to hear about Zane. He is such a fighter.

I ordered some Crop Bound cabsules from First State Veterinary Supply and was not impressed with them. You have to keep the bird hydrated when you give them the capsules and when a bird is sick, that is very hard to do.

Thanks, all. Good to know, Carla. Making sure a bird drinks isn't easy to do. I just caught Ruby, who refuses to come running with the rest of the gang when I shake the scratch can, and she drank quite a bit of V&E water. Just picked up the V&E today after Jody mentioned that they give their birds that on a regular basis during spells of extremely hot weather. Her crop was pretty large and hard but I massaged it and it seemed to go down some.
