Yep, I'm proud of his strength and will to live. The boy has a great attitude now. However, I have another issue to deal with and if anyone has any suggestions, I'd love to hear them. Got an injured chick in the house. Does it ever end? The drama, I mean. Dumb question. I know the answer. Check it out https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=64034
Well, it's been a long time since anyone's posted here, and I'm just wondering how Zane is doing? And your dad? Just thought I would ask. Hope everyone is recovering well.

My dad is home from the hospital and going back for therapy three times a week. He's being fitted for a prosthetic leg, too, so he's doing very well; thank you for asking.
We are at the end of a two week cycle of Doxycycline at the suggestion of Dr. Brown and Zane's infection seems to be about gone (again). His leg is very stiff so we are applying heat to the joint and beginning some therapy to see if he can ever get movement back from the hock to the toes. He's doing well, great color, appetite, etc. It's been a long road for him since he fell in April.
