Zeus finally crowed!!

I was so worried, because one of the other cockerels destined for the table has been pathetically crowing for almost a week. This morning I went out with my camera, trying to get mister pathetic on camera, and got a wonderful surprise when Zeus let out a real sounding crow! I'm so happy! The first and last crows are the pathetic sounding ones, the crow in the middle is Zeus! The chicks turned 10 weeks old on Wednesday, by the way!

I was really worried, cuz the other cockerel that has been crowing is bound for the table. I don't care if he was the first to crow and turns out to be alpha rooster or not, I am NOT eating Zeus! LOL Which means that the other three, including Mr. Pathetic Crower, are dinner.

How cute!!! I want my three roosters to start crowing. Id love the hear big boy barred rock crow before he goes to live at his forever home with 12 of his own hens.
