Zipping egg with foam

I have an egg zipping that has foam coming out of it. The chick was really moving inside and trying to get out. However, now he has stopped moving. There seems to be enough space on one side for him to get out, so I don't know why he hasn't hatched yet. What should I do?

Should I help the chick or leave it?

I'm guessing the chick is drowning. At this point, if you can open up a space where the beak is, and get it big enough that the entire beak, all the way back to where the beak joins the face, you might be able to help it, but... don't get upset if you can't. It sounds like it's lungs are filled up.

I just opened it and it was already dead. Thanks for responding, though.
