Zipping on a diagonal??

I was just checking my pips and one that I didn't think had made any progress looks as though it is zipping diagonal around the egg. The "trail" is so faint I didn't even notice at first. It's pip hole is still only the size of a pencil tip.

Do you think it will be OK and is just making a harder job for itself?

How long ago did it first pip? Mine pipped and 12 hours later it zipped and when it first started to zip it looked as tho he was going sideways but he ended up going in the right direction after about 30 min or so. If it has not been 12-24 hours after it pipped I wouldn't worry. Just wait and see what happens. Maybe something is wrong with the chick and it is not meant to be.

I wasn't worried about it time wise. He only pipped this morning. I just wasn't sure if this created a hardship for him. I was just looking at the egg again and he has sure got it rockin' - so I am guessing it will be fine. [IMG]
