Good idea! What did you have in mind? The same rules still sort of apply for taking photos of Silkies though. Good clear profile shot, comb pic, good lighting, in focus, etc.

Maybe a small point about crested breeds and shoving the crest back so we can see the comb?

Silkies are chickens, are they not? I fail to see how the general guidelines posted for aid in helping people create quality posts with helpful information to aid in sexing, doesn't apply to Silkies. If Silkie experts wish to weigh in on threads that pertain to Silkies, they should and provide more detailed means of sexing the bird. But the point of a general guideline is not to be granular and cavort in the weeds.
