Hi all. I've got 2 ducks, 2 geese and 2 chickens that I need to find a good home for. I had to move where I can't have them. They are my pets and it hurts to have to part with them but I have no choice. If anyone is interested and have questions pm me and I will give you my number.

Hi there. Because of my health problems I am having to find my 2 geese, 2 ducks and 2 chickens a good home. I would preferably like for them to go to someone with a pond or lake. I love this motley crew and hate to part with them but it's getting harder for me to care for them. If you are...

Hi there! I'm from western NC and I've lived here for a few years now. I've got chickens, geese, ducks and dogs. They have a nice big lot with shade trees. I also have 2 child's pools and several water bowls sitting around. In the summer I make sure they have fresh water at all times. Your dogs...

    The Duck Thread

Ok can somebody tell me what kind of ducks I have brought into the family. I got them as babies from the feed store. I love them. I named them Laverne and Shirley but I think Laverne is going to be Squiggy, since that little curl is coming up on his tail. Oh yes, he's the one with the little hat.

I can't see it very well but to me it either looks like a buff or splash. I'm sure there are others that can see it better than I can. :)

I have an Ameracauna that I raised from a baby along with another one. One is black and the other white, Ebony and Ivory. They were so wild even with me handling them every day. Ebony is now my little shadow. She follows me everywhere. If I bend down she will squat so I will pet her or pick her...

Do you have any problems with them eating the litter? I also have some Silkies I hatched and plan on showing this fall.

Ione of my friends on FB was just talking about this, only with Chihuahuas. She said someone posted a picture of her Chihuahua on EBay. This is not right! Hope they get them stopped.

My girls have slacked off since the days got shorter. They will pick up again when the days lengthen. They needed the break. They are laying machines. Also it has a lot to do with their housing. Mine have free range in a large fenced area and they go into their chicken house to roost at night...

I have some I am planning on showing but I was planning on the fall show at the Comal County Fairgrounds. I would love to enter the spring shows but not sure how far they are from me. I have to do the close drive thing also. :)

I am in the Cibolo area and I have a variety of chickens. My flock includes Barred Rocks, Cochin, Americaunas, Delaware, Red Sexlinks, Silver Laced Winedots, White Rock, Silkies and an old Turken roo that I can't bear to part with. All of mine do fine in the summer. I always make sure they have...

During the day, if it's nice, they are on the grass. So they do, at least, get a break from the wire. I think it bothers me more than them. Lol. Thank you for responding.
