No, coloring chicks doesn't bother me at all. It does bother me that legislators would waste taxpayer money dealing with an issue like this though. Of course, I don't condone buying chicks on a whim, or abusing any animals, but I think the government should stay out of it.

Personally, I don't consider that to be making soap, since the main ingredient is soap. We use store bought dish soap, but we dilute it dramatically. I don't measure it, but I would guess 9 parts water to 1 part soap. It works just as well, we think, and it seems like it lasts forever.
