Im excited about the auction tonight! It's so fun to watch. I havent gotten anything before but my daughter and I enjoy seeing all the birds. She loves to play with the other kids and I enjoy the show. Im such a worry wart about the possible contamination of getting a bird from an unknown source.

I was really hoping this would be one of those stories that had a happy ending, but its not. I lost her. I think this may be the end of my chicken momma experience. Too much heartbreak. We've lost 3 in the 5 months we've been chicken parents and I think thats just about enuf for me. :(

yes, the best kind to have! I appreciate all she and her hub did for Amy, but she didnt make it.:( I think after this loss I may be done all together. Ive lost 3 in 5 months. Just have to break it to my daughter and re-home my 3 remaining. Ty for your kind words :)
