Nice looking SL PeakyBeaky. I need to take a few pictures of my grow outs. They are turning out pretty good and I hope I have a few to take to Ohio Nationals.
Most chicks do not start developing lacing until they are about 6weeks old. It starts as white lines in some lines, and than the chest...
Well I will post pictures when they are done!
The girls are laying good..so if anyone wants to order Silver Laced please let me know..

There is a difference..
They are beautiful and striking. Wonderful birds..good flavor profiles. Egg size is very good.

I need to hatch a few dozen..
They are laying..fertility is low..those girls just do not like my male..he has to *surprise* them. It is not pretty. lol
My SL have been laying, but they are not always fertile for some reason..the male breeds them and he breeds other birds and those eggs are all fertile..but not those darn SL eggs..frustrating..
I set 8 eggs..4 hatched..all males...lol
Mine are growing up too..
He has way to many saddle feathers and they cover his wings too..I do not like that at all and hope he does not produce it.
He is so wide..I love that..
