The camera? My mom and step dad have a camera in their Screech owl nestboxes. She sends me pictures of them all the time.
The glass hives are just creepy to me. Becuase bugs are creepy. And while bees are kinda cute, a whole butt ton of them crawling around gives me the heebie jeebies.

Still can't find anything. There was a brief mention of plans to try and stop them near the Isthmus of Panama, but due to morphological and genetic differences between the Africanized hybrids and the European queens, even if the plan had been fully executed it most likely would not have worked.
I don't remember the name of the documentary, but I remember that they tried to create a Bee Belt across a portion of South America using European honey bees in hopes that the Africans would be incorporated into the European hives as pheromones from European queens modified the behavior...
