That's not quite true. All of my breeding birds have been wheaten, and I believe that Mike's birds are all wheaten as well (I may be wrong aout that). Also, I think that Lynne is working to get her birds purified for partridge (eb).
However, it IS true that there's a lot of...

He's got a lot of white....but he's cute!!!
Yeah, I'm going to use him for the "Candy Corn" Cochins project...just for fun! He doesn't make the cut for the MF project.
And just for fun here's a pic of the 3 chicks I hatched from tate's eggs...on top of the water and to the left and right of it. They're coming up on 6 weeks old already!

So very cute. Pretty strange they are starting so differently. What background does your trio have? I wonder if you have different backgrounds in your breeding stock. I know folks have discussed several different options to arrive at the MF pattern. The chicks from MF Du'ccles are...
All 6 of my eggs that made it into the hatcher hatched yesterday!! These are MFCs from my first trio and these are the first babies I've hatched from them. They are all sorts of colors! One of them is black with some white...what's up with that?! Pics to follow...
Ok, here are the pics...

Glad I have a hatch buddy! The one girl I have left isn't laying right now, so no more babies for me after this...well, at least not MFCs...I'm always hatching something! I worked all weekend and the eggs didn't get collected, so now I have 2 MORE broody Silkies! I think that makes...
I have 6 MFC eggs in my bator from the original trio I had (of which I only have a pair now). They're due on the 14th. Everyone please send hatching vibes....I need babies!!!
I think you could use her with any of your roosters except Trouble. I think he has way too much white like her, so if you're breeding against it you wouldn't want to use him. I think personally I would love to see her paired up with Rudy. (Disclaimer: This is an amateur opinion!)
Does anyone have (or know anyone who has) some pullets for sale? I lost the hen of my younger pair...I think to the neighbor's dog. It was my fault for letting her free range, so no more of that!

Hey Vickie! Your birds are gorgeous!! You have to let me know when they start laying so I can get some eggs/chicks from you to add to my project. Too bad you can't make it to the November swap. What about the December one?
Ok, here are updated pics of the 3 chicks I hatched from tate. They're right at a month old now. Sorry the pics aren't great...the older they get the less they like their photo ops!
#1 - Pretty sure he's a cockerel. I think I'll use him for the "Candy Corn" project since he has so much...
