Kind of - I see for the ACs you added that the bidding will close on Tuesday, but didn't set a time. If you want them to go right to the end of Tuesday, you should say "Bidding ends 11:59 PM on 3/5/19 EST" or whatever time zone you're in :)
Then you also need to set a starting bid, whatever...
So is this a recurring Buy It Now, for the prices listed in your last post, instead of an auction? Sorry, just trying to clarify since it seems people are confused :)
An auction should have a listed start date (usually the time of posting), a listed opening bid, and a listed end time and date...
'Frost' white legbars are legbars that are recessive white. Sapphires are a cross between leghorns and legbars. That's the difference :) One is a pure breed, the other is a mix.
There used to be a built in "Bump Ad" button for threads in the BST. You didn't have to post, it worked like renewing a post on Craigslist does. But it does seem to be gone now :(
The rules to post an auction here are listed on the first page of this thread. You need to have at least 250 posts and have been a member for 6 months or have 20 posts and have been a member for a year, so unfortunately you don't meet the requirements. You could however post in the other auction...
Just a heads up that since you've been a member here over a year even though you don't have 250 posts you are allowed by the thread's rules to post here, but only if you also have 20 posts per BYC rules to be able to use the BST at all. You are one post away - if I were you I'd go quickly...
You could make your own ad or post in the other thread I linked as soon as you have 20 posts. That's not a rule of the thread but a BYC rule in general. I think BYC has that rule to make sure people aren't coming here just to sell, since that isn't what this place is. This forum is meant to be a...
True, but you can only do a week in advance on those, so not really a huge presale there. Still, I probably wouldn't even do that, since you never know if the birds will keep laying. I prefer to do what TJ does and have all or most of them collected, then rotate out as they are laid and send...
X2 on this. I never ever ever do preorders because the second I do, something goes wrong or the birds stop laying. I will take future orders from people who pm me on my classified thread if they need eggs for a certain date, but I don't let them pay until I am about to ship, just in case.
Also...
X2 It's intended as a measure of protection for both buyers and sellers - sellers know that someone who is buying from them is trustworthy and not likely to flake on the sale, and buyers know that the seller is legitimate and in good standing and they aren't being scammed.
And, there's always...
Ah, so it is same rules for bidders as sellers as far as post count and how long you've been a member. Good to know, it looks as though I got confused on that point also (probably because I meet the requirements so I haven't checked them in forever, lol!).
It's actually 20 :) And for this thread in particular you need to have been a BYC member for 6 months and have 250 posts, or have been a member for a year and have the minimum 20 posts required to participate in the BST section. But you're right, no one needs to leave, just post some more!
I'm getting some mint green eggs off and on - some from my CCL, some from my EEs. I might have some around when you would need them if you're interested.
