I have Australorps. She has been broody for about a week. I lift her off the nest every afternoon and collect the eggs from the 2 other chooks. I don't want to distress her. I'll just wait it out

Hey guys - I have a broody chook. She has only been laying for about 2 months and there is no rooster. How long will it go on for? And how many times a year can chooks become broody? Any suggestions greatly appreciated....

I had the Sauv Blanc version of that a couple of weeks ago. Bought my 3 black chooks home, went out for dinner, stopped at the Bottle - O and what did I see.......Nice Wine ! Even nicer label :)

Hey Guys - can anyone help a newbie chook owner out? Can I feed the green tops of potato plants to "my girls"? My guess is no - but I'd rather check with you guys than google it. Google is soooo impersonal. What else from the veggie patch is a no-no?
