I do have one Nugget baby now, I've waited to post more pics because the last one died suddenly. It looks like Duchess the mommy more than the Nuggetron.

Nugget is doing well, all the tests found out is that it was human blood on the tent case and some of Nugget's too, mostly human but didn't match anything. For some strange reason Nugget has moved off of the porch and into the broody/baby pen with Charlotte and some of the youngersters. He got...

Nugget will be in a pen as long as I'm not home or at night just in case someone tries for him. I keep thinking though that someone tried to get in my house through the window he sleeps under and maybe tried to pick him up and move him, woke him up, then paid the price. I won't even try to move...

Quote: No, because right next to my fenced and locked yard, the fence they had to climb, is my parents motor home and it would have been much easier to knock on their door. It would also have been easier to walk up to the door of the house across the street, they have no fence around the front...

Quote: Don't worry, no one is going to flame you, there is no reason too. I've said all along that I feel someone was on my porch and woke him up. There is a bad cock fighting underground here though, and maybe they wanted him for his size to breed larger fighters. No matter what, someone hurt...

I'm getting ready for bed, I just went out to the coop to see how he is settling in, he's not asleep. He's standing on the milk crate staring out the window, I know if it didn't have wire over it he'd be trying to crawl out. The pic I posted was just a tiny little bit of the blood, but it was...

My poor free-roaming Nugget is not a happy camper, for the first time in his life he is in a pen. I put him up with the ladies tonight in the playhouse coop because it has a door I can lock on it. You should have seen the look on the ladies' faces when I put him in there lol. They are all up on...

Quote: And to the other questions, yes spurs grow back. About our officers, they are all good friends and have called me before when someone tried to steal a couple of my birds. This area is big into animals, we figure horse stealing is still a hanging offense with the closest tree and rope...

Just got the results, I didn't think we'd get them this fast, but when the deputy explained the circumstances and showed the tech the pictures, they expedited the results. The blood on the gate was human, and the blood on the tent was human too. The blood on the table, wooden box, and most of...

Well, I had a lot of drama around here yesterday I'll update on later in the day on a different thread. The blood smear is in such a condition you can't tell what made it, they took a sample though and will let me know if it's human or not today. It's kind of fun living in such a rural area...

Around here a good dog is worth it's weight in gold! As long as the bite in defense, they are ok, but they can't be loose and attacking anyone and everyone.

I just got a visit from my deputy friend, he found blood on my side gate, on the top of it. He said it looked either a palm smear or something had blood on a paw and jumped the fence. He's called someone else to look at it because he thinks it really does look like a human hand. Also he said...

The only wound I found on the Nuggetron was the broken spur. I did pretty good search on his body, and except for some broken feathers on the side the spur is gone on he's fine.
