Our final count is five hatched babies, all bantams. We had 3 not fertile, 1 early quitter and a later quitter. Better than last year for me so I'm happy! The bigger chicks in the picture are ones my husband just brought home from Tractor Supply 2 days before these hatched.

Locked down around 6:30. I candled before lockdown and 5 out of 6 eggs show shadowing. I started with ten eggs; two we're not fertile and there was one quitter. This is only my second time hatching and the first time only 3 out of 9 hatched. One of those had problems and died after a few days...

I was going to set our eggs today. Incubator has been running for a day, but I couldn't pickup the eggs from my friend today. I should get them tomorrow. Is that too late to be counted with the hatch-a-long? I saw someone a while back in the thread said something about a 2 day before and 2 day...

I'll be setting eggs with you! I will be hatching for only my second time this year. I did not have very good success last year, but am hopeful this year will be better!
