Very normal. Chicks sleep on their bellies, on their backs, legs in the air, legs out to the side, standing up, sitting down, anyway you can think of a chick will try and sleep that way :)

I woke up to find the humidity at 58% so I put some Wat in through the bent holes and not is at 75%!!!!!!! I don't know how to lower it without taking the top off which I don't want to do because I have one that's zipping! Please help

What is your humidity? I wouldn't worry. I had a splash maran that before lockdown when I was candling it was moving like crazy. Lockdown started. That thing didn't move one inch. I was sure it was dead. Wouldn't you know it just pipped. Don't give up!:D

I had one come out with some yellowish goo stuck to his but.. Is that the yolk? Should I be worried/do anything?

She hatched!!! At 7:50! I'm so proud:) but jeez, they are deffenitly not cute when they come out of the egg. Mine was scary. Now he's summer saluting through the incubator :D

My first chick is zipping :) She should be out soon. :):):) how long do you guys normally wait after the first chick hatches to remove chicks?

EVERYONE EVERYONE EVERYONE!!!!!! I have a pip!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm soooosoooosoooosoooosoooosoooooo excited!!!! I have two actually. I'm so happy. :D:D:D I can't get over the fact that it actually worked. I'm so proud!! Oh my goodness. As you can tell this is my first time :)

Today is day 21 for me and there's still no pips. On a brighter note, my chicks arrived in the mail safely and sound today. :):):):)

Soooooo this morning, I woke up at 5:45 to peeping!!! No one hatched or pipped but I could hear em peeping it up in there. Went back to bed and it's 9.45 and still no pips. I still hear peeping tho. :) and the post office didn't call this morning to have me pick up my chicks :( today is day two...

I'm so sorry about your hatch :(. I'll be lucky if I get any chicks. I saw some eggs moving earlier but I haven't seen them move since. Alls I can do is hope right? :)

I know how you feel! I was in bed and my dad came in to look at the baton. He goes, oooooooh!, look this one has a hole in it. I freaked jumped up, ran to it. But no. It wasn't pipped. It's sooooo mean!

Oh. And to make this better. I'm waiting for the phone call saying my chicks have arrived at the post office!! Such a chick filled day :)

I have two moving around!!!!! :):):):):):) I hope they hatch. I can't believe Iv actually got this far. That they have got this far. Ah!!! I'm sooooo excited. I caught myself talking to the eggs. Encouraging them to do as their siblings are. I'm crazy, I know. :):):):):lol:

Thanks! I hope I can atleast get somthing to hatch. The guy who used this incubator before me said nothing hatched. But I don't think he raised humidity during lockdown. And I don't think he monitored temps that well. My fingers are crossed!
