We let out Silkie hens hatch some of their own eggs, and it was so amazing to see. The true egg layer turned out to be an aggressive mama with the first hatched chick so we took her eggs to her sister who hatched out the other 3 and is a great mama to all of them. Never saw something so cool as a mama hen clicking at her chicks and how they follow her everywhere! Yesterday she thought she saw danger and clicked at he chicks and they all laid flat, quiet and still in the grass!
