Any Home Bakers Here?

Yay, another baker! Always room for one more of those!

I've only done 2-color marble cakes, what were the 3 you had in your cake? It's fun when something new turns out well.
I had a white, light pink, and dark pink color to do a pink camo cake. Yes, I was worried the colors would run together, but they didn't and the relative loved it!

Glad you joined the thread….never tried a marble cake. Actually never had a lot of luck with cakes except pound cakes.
Thank you! Really? What's the thing you like baking best?

I love baking pies, breads and snacks.

But am experimenting with home baked flock treat blocks: first attempt was not what I expected, but the hens loved them.

Yesterday baked 3 small ones - didn't measure just mixed til it felt right. I think these will hold their shape, they came out of the pans in one piece..

That's cool! I've never tried pies before.

Those look great! I'm sure your flock loves the home-baking!

I've thought of doing some, but never gotten to doing it.

sunflour, your flock blocks look amazing (and good enough to eat, lol). Did you spray a no-stick to the pans to get the blocks out easier?

That sounds like a pretty cool cake! Did you do it in a bundt pan?

Sorry to interrupt the conversation, but...Oooh! I've never seen this thread before. Hi, other bakers! I just put a batch of dog biscuits in the oven (new flavor- sardine- the dogs look pretty excited by the smell. Usually, I make peanut butter or cheese).
I do bake people food, too: cakes, cookies, pies, bread, cinnamon rolls. So far, I've only made my Mom's super easy italian bread recipe (no kneading), but I'd love to learn to make brioche or challah.
Looking forward to more photos and new recipes!

Welcome!! Glad you joined us.

Never thought about baking dog biscuits. We no longer have a dog, but our neighbor's dog gets dog biscuits from us every day. She prances back and forth at treat time..lol…just like my hens.
