Ok second candle.. (a day early did thwm last night) and well I am soooooo. Excited. Most look great even a few questionable one on day 7 were looking great. Only 5 infernal and one quitter.... out of wellllll. Not giving that # because of contests.... but as of now this I think will be the best hatch yet. I even have some good looking (washed and was refrigerated eggs) yep I needed a few more to fill the incubator and added a few from the frig.

Eeeeeeeekkkkkkkkkkkkkkk, my babies will be here soon..

Anyone els going into lockdown tomorrow?
I’m getting excited 😁
I am a bit disappointed that ALL of the polish eggs I put in weren’t fertilized 😔 I knew it was a crap shoot putting pullet eggs in, but was really hoping my Roos had woo’d them. Haha. I’ll likely check eggs and do another round after these guys hatch.
On the upside, all fertilized eggs have been progressing nicely 🥰 No quitters as of yet.

Today is technically lockdown for my broody hen. I’m pretty excited to see how many hatch (she only has 6).

I hope she waits enough days to give all the eggs a chance because I think she was sitting on one egg for one day before I added 5 more and moved her.
