A **WARNING** ABOUT BLUE-KOTE!

I know your pain....I had to put Blu-Kote on my Silkie hen...My mother came over and held her (wearing one of her best shirts). I had on latex gloves figuring that was enough....well, I wasn't thinking...I had to put it on her head near her ear and on her back....I did the head first...She shook her head and it went EVERYWHERE...I had it on my face, neck, arms, hands..my mom's shirt was ruined and she had it on her face and neck. The next day though, we laughed about it until we cried. But it wasn't funny at the time!

Oh-my-goodness. Found out by trial and a lot of error that hand sanitizer will take quite a bit off. The remaining stain lingers long enough to have to answer questioning looks at the grocery store and snickers at the farmers co-op. Good luck!
