Beautiful pics! You should have painted her toenails pink to match her comb/face.

No. Rec White x Rec White = White. Recessive White just means that the white will not show up if the bird carries only one copy for it, unlike dominant white. Most Ameraucanas I believe are recessive White not dominant.

Hey all, I'm looking to get some true ameracaunas. Was told that it is hard to get adult hens. Does anyone have chicks or hatching eggs available and is able to ship. Pm me with prices and availability. Thanks in advance.

Depending on where you are in Oregon, there's a big poultry swap in Corvallis this weekend, there at least one person bringing both POL pullets and hatching eggs. You can check out the thread at https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=490979

I
was hoping that someone was going to be there, I am attending the swap so now I have to be on the lookout for them and hope that I get there early enough to get some!!! Thank you very much for the heads up.

There are folks who advertise on BYC at the end of the index. My few birds are from a local breeder and my one Bantam pullet was hatched from shipped eggs more than half way across the county. There are breeders listed here: http://www.ameraucana.org/

Finding
local poultry shows through internet searches are sometimes a good source depending on the amount of breeders in your area. I know of only a few breeders with Bantam Ameraucanas 2 in Indiana and 2 in southern California. So you really need to look around your area if you want local access. Good luck searching and do your homework so you know the quality of what you see. Also remember the differences between EEs and Ameraucanas. If you are new to the breed copy, paste and print the information.
