I just finished baking a batch of chocolate chip/espresso chip cookies...that's all the baking for me today.

I made chocolate chip cookie dough and froze it in individual cookie sizes. I bake them four at a time for us. That way the cookies are always fresh!

I do need to make some cappuccino chocolate chip cookie balls though.

I made chocolate chip cookie dough and froze it in individual cookie sizes. I bake them four at a time for us. That way the cookies are always fresh!

I do need to make some cappuccino chocolate chip cookie balls though.

I've tried a lot of chocolate chip recipes with mixed results but I love this one from Sally's Baking Addiction: giant-chocolate-chip-cookies

She makes 6 humongous sized cookies, but I use my scoop and make regular sized ones. It's a nice recipe for us because it just makes about 14 cookies so they don't sit around very long.

I did my baking yesterday evening. I made a gooseberry pie and half of a peach pie. The peach pie did not make it through the evening.
